Pastor and popular Christian writer, Max Lucado, has said that: “Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.” And our experience at M.C.F. is that he was absolutely right.
Not that we’ve got prayer all worked out and understand all there is to know about it. Not at all! There are still a lot of mysteries that we may never unravel on this side of time. But we have certainly seen some wonderful answers to our prayers in the past year or so, both as individuals and as a fellowship. Indeed, some have been truly amazing!
And we just wanted to share that with you, for your encouragement. “The power of prayer is in the One who hears it and not the one who says it.” Mind you, it really helps when you know the One you’re talking to!
